People who’ve lost everything, who are in some of the lowest levels of human existence have trouble absorbing advice, solutions, or pep talks.
What they need first is a safe human presence, loving support with no strings attached, and food, and water if they’re hungry and thirsty.
Try to help them build up the body first, then, (and this takes time and trust to develop) if they are amenable to it, help guide them into a level of consciousness where they connect with positivity and spirituality.
