Not Patient or Welcoming

This morning after outreach, our team stopped for coffee. As we often do, we offered to buy breakfast for a couple who were hungry. Unfortunately, the staff at the establishment were not patient or welcoming, and things escalated quickly when the couple felt they were being treated unfairly.

We helped de‑escalate and got everyone outside safely, but the experience made it clear that this is not a place we can support going forward.

We believe in treating every person with dignity, and we’ll continue choosing businesses that share that value.
